Indios de San Francisco (LNB) inked 30-year old American 201cm forward Tony Farmer (college: Lee JC). Farmer played this summer at Obregon in Mexican CIBACOPA. He managed to play in three leagues in three countries last year (!!!). In 39 CIBACOPA games just recently he recorded very impressive stats: 23.1ppg, 9.2rpg, 2.8apg and 1.2spg. Farmer was also voted League Player of the Week (4 times). The last season he played at Al Nawair (SBL) in Syrian league. He also played for Al-Manama in Bahrain league that season where in three West Asia Super League games he averaged 14.7ppg, 8.7rpg, 1.0apg and 1.0spg. The other team he played shortly was Al Salam in Saudi Arabian SBL. In 5 games he had also remarkable stats: 21.4ppg, 7.4rpg, 3.4apg and 1.2spg.
Farmer is a very experienced player. He has quite traveled the world as his pro career brought him to six different countries on three different continents (Asia, Latin America and of course North America). Farmer has played previously professionally in Argentina (Riachuelo de La Rioja), Qatar (Al Rayyan), Bolivia (Pichincha), TBL (Yakima SK and Raleigh Firebirds) and Ecuador (Punto Rojo). His team won Bahrain Supercup in 2024.
Among many awards he was selected to Latinbasket.com All-Mexican CIBACOPA Honorable Mention in 2023.
He graduated from Lee College in 2017 and it will be his ninth season in pro basketball.
